Selling in dollars and baht
Sell in USD or baht as well as kip: each currency needs its own QR, and prices come from kip automatically or from you.
Foreign customers, or anyone who prefers to pay in dollars or baht, choose the currency in the shop's top bar. Every price changes to it, and they pay on that currency's QR.
- 1Go to “Settings” → “Currencies”
- 2Upload the QR of an account that receives that currency — without a QR it cannot be switched on
- 3Tick “Sell in” that currency
- 4Choose the exchange rate: “Automatic” or “I set it myself”
- 5Choose the products: “All products” or “Only the products I choose”, then press “Save”
“Automatic” is updated every day from the internet; there is nothing to do. “I set it myself” is your own figure, unchanged until you change it: use it if your bank works at another rate.
Open a product and find the “Prices in other currencies” box. For each currency choose “Automatic” or “My price” and write the price. With “Only the products I choose”, a product stays “Sold in kip only” until you choose. Options with their own price go by the exchange rate.
Another currency is paid by QR only. Cash on delivery, deposits and pre-orders stay in kip. A cart holding a product sold in kip only is paid entirely in kip.
The order page says which currency was paid, how much and at what rate: check the slip against that amount. Your sales, profit and statistics always read in kip.
