Common questions
Is it really free to build?
Yes, and with no time limit. Create an account, add your products, logo and colours without paying anything. When your shop is ready to sell, the team checks it, tells you what to improve and opens it to real customers, free for 7 days (up to 10 orders). You pay for a package only when you want to keep selling.
Where does the money from my sales go?
Straight to your own bank account, through your own QR. LaoCart takes no commission and never touches your money.
How do I pay?
Scan our QR (LAO QR / BCEL One) and upload the slip. We usually open your shop within a few hours.
What happens if I do not renew?
Your shop closes, but we keep your products and orders for 30 days in case you come back.
How are products counted?
By the products shown in your shop. Colours or sizes of the same product count as one. Basic 30, Starter 50, Pro unlimited. Add more products or upgrade at any time.
Does the system know by itself when a customer has paid?
On Pro, yes, through BCEL's payment gateway (see the next question). On Basic and Starter the customer attaches the slip and you confirm it in the admin with one tap, or you add automatic confirmation as an option.
Can my shop confirm payments automatically (BCEL OnePay)?
Yes. LaoCart connects your shop to BCEL's payment gateway: a LAO QR is made for each order and the payment is confirmed by itself, with no slip to check. The bank charges a percentage per payment and a monthly fee; LaoCart takes nothing on it. Included in Pro, an add-on on Basic and Starter.
How to get it and what it costs →Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Starter and Pro. We register and connect it for you for a small yearly fee. We manage it so your shop always works, and it can be transferred to your name if you ask.
