Billing and refund terms

How you pay, how you renew, and why a plan is not refundable.

If the languages differ, the Lao version is the one that counts.

Written in plain language, not by a lawyer

The LaoCart team wrote this page so it can be read and understood. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. We prefer to say so, and we will update it once it has been.

1. Building a shop is free

Creating an account, creating a shop, adding products and looking at the result costs nothing. You pay only when you want the shop open to customers.

2. Prices and invoices

Prices are in Lao kip and are shown in the price table and on the “Billing” page in your shop. Every invoice says what it covers and until which date.

How to pay is in How to pay for your plan.

3. No refund once the shop is open

A paid service that has been delivered — product entry, design work — is not refundable either.

4. Renewal and grace period

We send reminder e-mails before the end date. If the date passes unpaid, the shop stays open for 7 more days as a grace period, and only then closes to customers.

5. After a shop closes

Your data is kept for 30 days after the shop closes. Pay within those 30 days and the shop comes back as it was. After that, the data is permanently deleted.

A shop that is created but never opened is deleted after 60 days.

6. Price changes

Prices can change, but never for a period you have already paid for. A new price applies at your next renewal, and we tell you in advance.
